Flying is the Answer

The Advance Aircraft Company of Troy, Ohio, is manufacturing at present the largest number of commercial planes using OX5, Ryan-Siemens, "Whirlwind", and Caminez motors.

These ships are going into every branch of commercial endeavor, from passenger and mail service to cotton dusting and aerial survey. Notable among our purchasers are the large manufacturing concerns and banking institutions. Many were purchased by the above for advertising purposes, while the larger majority were used for quick despatch of parts and equip-ment to branches, large dealers, distributors, etc.

Several large concerns supplying equipment and parts to the isolated oil fields of the southwest have speeded up deliveries as much as 3 or 4 days with the use of WACO planes. The business relations department of one of the nations largest banking institutions purchased one of our ships for the personal use of its manager. During the period of the Mississippi and New England floods our planes were used in locating refugees, delivering food etc. In New England they were operated with skiis to enable landing on snow and ice. The sales manager of a leading pain and lacquer manu-facturer uses a Waco to call on branch managers making a country wide trip in a few weeks.

The present production plane as manufactured in WACO factories is safer for travel than the public thinks. It has the ability to take-off quickly, climb swiftly and land slowly, allowing you to take-off or land in any field or pasture.
