Request that $100.00 per month rental be paid for the buildings owned by them at Harper's Ferry and occupied as a Normal school under the American Missionary Association. Until thus deeded I do not think we can pay rent. One large building is now owned by the Society, & used for school purposes, & for it I recommend that a rent of $25.00 per month from the 1st of Oct 1868 be paid.
