My Baptist are away a few days so I took the bus yesterday and had a chat as I waited with Mr Bryan. He said 'Billy is all registered for next Sept at the Univ of Virginia. I thinks he is working steadily now, I don't know where. Sophy is in the midst of her worst exams this week and gets thru the 27th. She showed me pages of chemistry formulas she is trying to cram for her course in insecticides, - a fat lot of good such a course will ever do her. It is just a gymnastics feat of memorizing in order to get an A-M. sometime. I rather suspect she is trying to get an asstship somewhere in order to do graduate work, but she told me how many bills she has and isn't able to meet. Even her winter coat isn't paid for.

Well, I must rush along in order to get that good "Wash. Express" bus.
