Dear Doris:

I hope you are well over your trip and rested and able to dig in with a vengeance again. Mary Swingle's father was at the museum yesterday and inquired your address.  He said she left Sunday P.M. - I expect most of them did.  He is going to Calif next week.

We went home after seeing you off and I washed blankets and let them flap in the hot wind.  After lunch we drove up to Plummer's Is. Dad had washed our car all up while I did the blankets and felt like an airing then himself.  The flowers were coming out in the woods, - bloodroot and golden ragwort and
