ADIEU, FURRYLAND!

[[two page spread with images of four photos, women in coats]]

By VALERIE PARKS

Sealskin

The coat to the left is smart, durable and beautiful Alaska Seal. This fur is as attractive as Beaver with greater wearing possibilities. The model, with hands chucked deep in the pockets, vagabond hat at a rakish angle, colorful scarf and turned down collar, exemplifies the word “sport.” Yeh-h-h! Rah! Rah!

Raccoon

If you enjoy dashing off to football games in zero weather and yelling yourself and everyone else deaf at basketball duels, you probably also go in for sporty, sturdy, raccoon when you do your fur hunting. This striped, long-haired fur, if especially marked and cut, may be used for more formal wear.

Mink

The baroness, duchess, princess and queen of this season’s pelts has been and still is luxurious, gorgeous, glamorous mink! This magnificent fur (modeled above) is soft as an echo, weighs less than a shadow (yet is as warm as toast), and is as rich as truly royal raiment. “Let’s “by” one!!
