Henderson, Kentucky. Following an exhibition at Logansport, Indiana on May 31st 
he flew to Elwood, Indiana for a date there. He next flew at Vincennes and Indianapolis, in Indiana, then returned to Kentucky where he gave exhibitions at Hopkinsville and Paducah. On several of those dates Adams flew cross-country from place to place instead of shipping his plane. Later he exhibited in the Dakota and was at the South Dakota State Fair at Sioux Falls September 11th to 15th.

May 20th to 28th, 1916 Adams flew at the Military Aviation Tournament at Sheepshead Bay, Long Island, New York. Also flying at this event were Katherine Stinson, Tex Millman, Victor Carlstrom, Ruth Law, Steve MacGordon and Lawrence Sperry. Daily military demonstrations took place and Adams won first place in the bomb dropping events. He made an excellent showing and gave fine demonstrations of looping and acrobatic flying. 

In July Adams was again flying exhibitions in the mid-west and that month he 
and Jean Domenjos flew at Cleveland where Adams race Dario Resta's Race automobile.
Working west, he flew at Grand Falls, North Dakota in August, then Sioux Falls, South Dakota. On September 2nd he made the first cross-country flight ever made in Colorado when he flew from Loveland to Longmont, 21 miles in 15 minutes. 

Late that fall Adams became a civilian flying instructor at the new Government flying school for the Aviation Section, Signal Corps, U.S Army, at Ashburn Field, Chicago, Illinois. This school grew rapidly, training military flying recruits, and by January , 1917 sixteen civilian instructors had been assigned to duty there. 
That month the entire operation moved to Chanute Field, Rantoul, Illinois, where Adams continued in this service through World War I.

After the War he evidently returned to the Curtiss organization where he re-
mained an employee until Curtiss established a private experimental development group in Florida in the late 1920's and early 1930's. 

The last known residence of Adams was in 1936 when he was still employed by the Curtiss Aerocar Company at Coral Gables, Florida. As of this writing it is not known what became of him. He was a member of the Early Bird Organization
