Flying pioneer and early aeronautical engineer-manufacturer, Edson F. Gallaudet deserves much credit for his many contributions to American aviation history. From the beginning his aeroplanes displayed his unusual creative ability and engineering judgement [[strikethrough]] of basic requirements [[/strikethrough]] striving for the utmost in efficiency and performance. His name will long remain among the pioneers of the aviation industry the world enjoys today.
