not care for fancy dress and was highly respected by all who knew him. As one of the very first Wright Exhibition Team his name will always remain in the history of early American public flying where their deeds were famous everywhere. The risky, daring work that first famous team performed contributed much to the accomplishments of the Wright Brothers, and history must well record the important part they played in proving to a doubting public that man indeed could really fly. His name is on the Wright Memorial Plaque at Dayton along with the other pioneers who learned to fly there.
