Flying Pioneer Alfred W. Lawson was one of the true pioneers of the aviation movement in the United States. A show-man, promoter, and salesman, a man of unusual vision he was too soon with his ambitions but must be credited with promoting, building and flying the first true passenger airliner in the United States.
