  Flying Pioneer, Early Bird Herbert A. Munter devoted his entire lifetime to aviation.  Airplane builder, self-taught aviator, military [[strikethrough]] Naval officer, he contributed much to the progress of United States aviation history.  As Boeing's first employee he assisted greatly in the early foundation of the great industry it has become today.
