Engineer in charge of the XB-2 aircraft, and shortly thereafter was made Chief Design Engineer. In 1930 the Garden City plant was closed and Page was moved to the Buffalo, New York Division until 1932 when he was transferred to the St. Louis Division as Chief Engineer. During the war he was made Director of Engineering and transferred to Buffalo where he had charge of all engineering for the entire Airplane Division of the Curtiss-Wright Corporation.

During the peak of World War II activities Page was in charge of 4,300 Engineering personell in their four war-time plants at Buffalo, New York, St. Louis, Missouri, Columbus, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky. At that time, and throughout World War II, Curtiss-Wright was [[strikethrough]] the leading [[/strikethrough]] a prominent producer of aircraft, aircraft engines and propellers, being second only in total business to General Motors. The Buffalo Curtiss plant was closed in December, 1945 and Page and his engineering operations were moved to the Columbus, Ohio plant. This plant ceased operations in November, 1950, but he remained there until September, 1951 attending to cleanup work.

During his many year at Curtiss and Curtiss-Wright Page was involved in the design, construction and test of over ninety basically different airplanes the widely varying production models of which ran into many thousands. One of his last projects there was the World War Ii renowned C-46 which originated from his preliminary design concept. Also, during this time he received some twenty-five aircraft patents.

After terminating his long and noteworthy staff position with Curtiss-Wright, Page became Director of Engineering of the Aeronca Mfg. Corp. of Middletown, Ohio, on October 1, 1951. Later he was made Vice-President of Engineering there, which position he held until his formal retirement to Reynoldsburg, Ohio in 1957. Following this, however, Aeronca retained Page as a consultant and assistant to his successor. [[strikethrough]] where he is still engaged at the present time, residing in [[/strikethrough]]
