of the Early Bird organization at Birmingham, Alabama. He retired to San Francisco, California, where he enjoyed arts and literature, but especially the memories of his extensive aviation career. While his flying experience was limited, few men indeed contributed more to the progress of aviation development, nor can they equal his many creative accomplishments.
