Vaughn is a member of the Early Birds, Masonic Order, a Knight Templar and the Management Club of Columbus.
Flying Pioneer - Early Bird Stanley I. Vaughn devoted his entire lifetime to aviation, starting with Ballooning, then taught himself to fly on planes of his own construction.  His natural engineering, development and administrative abilities were quickly recognized by Glenn Curtiss, for whom Vaughn soon became one of the valued stalwarts who helped the Curtiss Company to become the world's leading aviation enterprise of the early era.
Vaughn's countless contributions to the development of aviation history are legend and his name must be well recorded as a worthy reward of his lifelong efforts.
