General:  I have the honor to request permission to purchase from the Bureau R. F. & A. L., at Barry Farm,

1000 ft. Hemlock boards.
1000 ft. Spruce boards.
3000 shingles.

for the purpose of enclosing lots Nos. 15 and 16 in Sect. No. 8 and constructing thereupon some "out-buildings", all of which are necessary to the convenience and security of the Superintendent residing there.
