Art Walker -- ...amazing coincidence (hadn't spoken to him since leaving Stanford). Looked about the same. Thoughtful approach. Pre-occupied with putty & O-rings (received complete collection -- in tool box size case -- of O-rings from Parker (?}. Was taken for a waiter/ maƮtre'D at an early function by some (member of Commission) (NASA official?). Had good time w/ student/prof relationship ("I guess I won't win all of our arguments"). Known for taking red-eye in from SF or LA.

Yeager -- never met him. Saw him for ~1 hr at one of our early closed-door sessions in D.C. (OEB)...he left early. That was his only appearance (asked no questions, looked bored). NO work done, only contact was occasional phone call from Al Keel. "Give 'em hell, Doctor..." to Rogers (not a Ph.D.) on phone toward end. Jokes about whether he would sign the final
