March 21

Dear folks,

It seems to me I am getting worse & worse in studying, & [[strikethrough]] next [[/strikethrough]] this week will be rock bottom: I'm going [[strikethrough]] to [[/strikethrough]] out after Choral Mon, Tue, out Wed, Thur, Sat, & Sun! And the hour exam today will be poor given that it's an easy subject because I went out last night ... all weekend I labored without a moment's cessation on the Hardy paper & the hour exam -- & neither are really good jobs, just labored jobs -- the both lacked in interest in energy (the [[then]] I was very depressed): so an outing to a terrific concert seemed worth it. Bill's gal had been down for the weekend, another great strain, but we are O.K: the one thing handled properly in my life. Tomorrow has another paper to write this afternoon as well as a revision of the first, & then study for Ec quiz (way behind in reading) & tutorial. Tonight is the Mozart High Mass: Tue & Wed Bartok quartets; Thursday Oaklahoma [[Oklahoma]]! with Paul Francis, Duffy, & Polly; Sat. Mass rehearsal, Sunday Mass. So –

So you are having a vacation, Dad? On a program last night "The River Boys" became the most-read literature, an interesting note.

Love,
Doris
