Dear Doris:
Sorry to hear about your accidnt [[accident]]. Hope you will feel better soon.

We had our pictures taken in school last week. Gee did mine come out swell! Maybe you will see it some time....

I haven't seen Dickie and Phil lately.  Boo! Hoo!  I suppose you haven't either!  Too bad. Too bad!

I took care of kids Saturday night. Two sweet little girls. Janie is 2½ and Sally is 4 months. I hunted high and low for Sally's diapers, but I couldn't find one. Poor Sally was stranded until her mother came home.

This is study period in school so I have plenty of time before I do my math.

I think those demonstrations you drew were very comical.

I try and draw some in this letter. I have a good time down town [[downtown]] in the First National Stores.
