June 21, 1972 evening X [[crossed out/]] II [[/crossed out]]] 2 - MINNIE EVANS 9 NHS: Say what happen ME: You might get hemmed up. The people cutting trees down there. NHS: oh, oh ME: There's a whole lot of logs, big trucks getting them logs and things out. NHS: Well I don't believe you [[crossed out/]] can [[/crossed out]] could find your log. ME: I'm going to try and find it. I know exactly where the spot is. [[crossed out/]] It's between fields [[/crossed out]] Where the tree fell. I'm going to try it. I was thinking about it the other day. I'm going to try to find it. I'm going to see if I can find it (laughter) at the ants' wedding. NHS: What did you say you tried? Painting Vasella [[right margin/]] Break [[/right margin]] ME: I say I tried to stop (NHS: yes) but I went a whole week without painting any and I liked to went crazy and nobody knows. I was in a terrible condition (NHS: aah). [[crossed out/]] It was [[/crossed out]] very bad. I had the worse - I had all kind of dreams. I dreamt the whole sky, the whole element[[crossed out/]]s [[/crossed out]] was nothing but pictures put together like this. The whole just as far as I could see. They were all in the yard. They[[crossed out/]]'s [[/crossed out]] was all on the bushes. All on the trees [[crossed out/]] were [[/crossed out]] [[margin note/]] they [[crossed out/]] was [[/crossed out]] were [[/margin note]] pictures. And in the daytime I dreamt I saw that then I got up [[crossed out/]] one night [[/crossed out]] [[margin note/]] wondering [[/margin note]]. What happened to me I laid down that morning. I had swept [[crossed out/]] up [[/crossed out]] [[margin note/]] out [[/margin note]] [[margin note/]] sweep the house up I had[[/margin note]] my living room and the bedroom and swept th[[crossed out/]]e [[/crossed out]] [[margin note/]]at [[/margin note]] dirt right in the middle of the kitchen and then I got I got right numb, funny [[crossed out/]] and [[/crossed out]] [[margin note/]] when [[/margin note]] I went in the bedroom and David had stayed there. He had come home and I fell across the bed. That was around 8 or near 8.30 in the morning. When I woke up and I thought I had just went to sleep. When I woke up the sun was over here and I was frightened to death. I said what's the matter? Why is the sun way over here? And then I went out on the front porch everything I looked at was rainbow. Different colors, everything. Thene I went out on the back and know that's the time that morning round 8 oclock I closed my front door and back door and I went to praying. NHS: You mean? this was painting + prayer ME: I prayed. walking from one door to the other Just nothing but praying. Nobody That's when I went out on the front proch and everything was turned to rainbow. I said what is it? Is the sun 'clipse or what? I went out on the back and there was a little oak tree right on my , [[illegible]] to the end of my back porch and the limbs on the house kinda. And I went out in the yard and stood up. What frightened [[crossed out/]] me was [[/crossed out]] some the crows [[crossed out/]] [[/crossed out]] or [[margin note/]] the [[/margin note]] ravens. One of them said caw, caw, caw. Right [[crossed out/]] on [[/crossed out]] [[margin note/]] in [[/margin note]] that limb [[crossed out/]] right [[/crossed out]] on top of the house. I said, oh! my and then there's four or five big pine trees in the yard. I don't want to make a mistake but it look like to me there was 18 or 19 different of these birds and some was on top of my house and they came there to hear me pray. That was the only thing [[crossed out/]] that [[/crossed out]] was there, those birds. NHS: Was that [[crossed out/]] the first [[/crossed out]] [[margin note/]] before? [[/margin note]]? ME: I went out there and stood up and one by one or two they went to flying away. Going away, caw, caw, [[crossed out/]] caw [[/crossed out]] (laughter). And there [[crossed out/]] was [[/crossed out]] nobody else here to hear me pray so God sent some ravens out the
