ME: woods and my, my, my. I was in a miserable fix. I was terrible. I tried to stop painting and that's because my neighbors were calling me crazy because I was praying.

NHS: aaah

ME: My church members, think of it. [[strikethrough]]My[[/strikethrough]] Your church members call[[strikethrough]]ed me[[/strikethrough]] [ing you] crazy and they talking to me coming nudging each other and I look at them. 'Miss Minnie how you feel'? I say okay and alright, doing well.

NHS: (laughter)

ME: I say I hope you all doing well. Say yes, ^[we- oh] I'm alright, we - nudging each other and I'm looking at them and (laughter) my church members now. Just think of it.

NHS: yes

ME: Calling you crazy cause you'r praying. So I let [[strikethrough]]them[[/strikethrough]] ['em] go ahead [[strikethrough]]on[[/strikethrough]] and laugh and let them talk and all like that. 'Oh! Miss Minnie how you feel?' 'You [[strikethrough]]feeling[[/strikethrough]] [doing] alright?' I say yes. I'm doing fine. Then Julius went to my pastor, Rev. S. D. [[strikethrough]]Darran[[/strikethrough]] [Dunham]. And when he talked with him he say you leave her off.

NHS: Good, good.

ME: Say don't you say another word to her. But she's - . He said no she's not crazy. Say you the one crazy (laughter) [[strikethrough]]so that's enough of her[[/strikethrough]] ^[for messing up with her].

NHS: Good
[Lawyer Roundtree]
ME: So I do. [Then] Lawyer Roundtree, when I went to his house about this talk and I was telling him about it (laughter). He said, 'Don't you let Minnie know you a damn fool.' (laughter)

NHS: That's what Lawyer Roundtree said?

ME: Yes, Lawyer Roundtree told him "say you crazy. You leave her alone. [[strikethrough]]Say[[/strikethrough]] she's alright. He said I thought she was going crazy with painting, doing all them pictures and all them things. Say no Julius she's not.

NHS: Good

ME: Say if you live long enough you will find it out.

NHS: He said that?

ME: (laughter) and everyday when I have to go paint a picture got so after that I paint seven pictures in one day. One day I don't know which was [[strikethrough]]in[[/strikethrough]] it, some of these I painted seven of them. Some of these in one day. I don't know which ones they is right now.

NHS: They were like this? They were like this were they?
