The arrangement of the genus Lachnosterna [[underlined], of which a part of our material was studied by Dr. Horn, has been begun, and notes made of information obtainable from the collection.
A very little work has been done of the monograph of the Noctuidae [[underlined]] -- principally photographing a series of 54 species: of these it must be said that they are superior to any similar plates we have heretofore obtained.
The ordinary routine of Museum work filled in the intervals very completely.
