REPORT of DEPARTMENT of INSECTS for APRIL, 1890.

The only accession during the month was 719 Haltica ignita Ills., injurious to straeberries, from W. E. Hudson, Orlando, Fla., and this was duly reported upon.
The rearrangement of the systematic collection of N/ Am. Coleoptera was completed and contains 5910 species,  properly identified, and 443 new or undetermined species.
