The cost of this work, requiring about 1300 feet of pipe will be $173.00.  The buildings spoken of are the small frame barracks, one story, 3 in number, formerly occupied by the guard, now used as school house & quarters; the value of the buildings would hardly

warrant the expense to be incurred, a supply of wooden fire buckets, kept constantly filled with water in the building would answer every purpose as a protector against fire, there is a running stream near the Buildings.
