REPORT OF DEPARTMENT OF INSECTS FOR AUGUST, 1891.

The following accessions were received during the month:-

√ 24668 - A pair of Pleocoma Rickseckeri, one specimen of Eupompha and one of Chalcis ovata, from L. E. Ricksecker, Sylvania, Occidental P.O., Sonora, Cal.

√ 24667 - 108 specimens of about 50 species of Exotic Coleoptera, mounted but unnamed, from G. W. J. Angell, 44 Hudson St., New York, N.Y.  (Exchange).  As an [[strikethrough]] qquui [[/strikethrough]] equivalent one pair of Schizopus lactus Lec. was given in return.

√ 24657 - Theraphosid spider, found in a banana bunch, from R. W. Brown, 612 L. St., S.W., Washington, D.C.

√ 24663 - 40 species of Coleoptera from Washington, containing 2 species new to collection, from T. Kincaid, Olympia, Wash'n.
