1.  Large series of Coleoptera (more than 200 species) from O. Dietz, of New York.

2.  Lot of miscellaneous insects from Wm. Kayser, Wapokoneta, Ohio.

A series of Heteroptera was prepared and sent to Prof. O.L. Montandon, Bucarest, Roumania, as an exchange for accession 25520.

The collection of Geometridae was rearranged.  There are 243 named North American species represented, and the unnamed species (about 50) are now being studied.  The biologic series illustrates the life-history of 27 species and the European collection contains 162 named species.

The orders Neuroptera and Pseudoneuroptera were also rearranged in 20 cabinet drawers. The whole North American collection contains 348 species in 1183 examples, out of which 211 species are authoritatively named.  The families are represented as follows:
