The following lots of insects were sent out from the museum during the month:
1. The collection of the Tribe Tryphoninae to Prof G.C. Davis, Agricultural College Michigan, as a loan for study.
2. Types of Aegeria aemula H. Edw. to Wm Beautenmüller, American Museum Natural History, New York as a loan for study.
3. Duplicates of Central and South American Diurnals to J.G. Foetterle, Petropolis, Brazil, as an exchange.
The collection in the North American Cerambycidae was rearranged and descriptions were made of the species new to science - 8 new species and one new genus. Two new species of Scarabacidae were also described.
