D.C. on cases of destitution specified by Mrs. Griffing and calls attention to the cases of May Eastman + Ann Peck; requests that a written presentation of this case be made to the Mayor of the City; also the cases of Sarah Hailstaff [[?]] and Kitty Buckner states that relief for one week has been ordered, and requests that the parties be notified of the action taken - and if they refer the offer of admission to Freedmans Village nor more relief will be afforded them by the Bureau. 
In the cases of Caroline Lee relief to the amt. of $ [[?]] has been ordered.
Requests that the visiting agents be notified of the above issue and the instructions as to future issues of relief, and that further report of cases be made, considered proper subjects fro admission to Freedmans Village Va - Stating reasons more fully. |
