Sir,

In regard to the case of the colored woman which I presented to you yesterday (the mother of Bettie Bell) and which you decided has a 5th subject for the Aged Peoples'Home at Freemans Village - I would inform you = in order to prevent unnecessary trouble that her family friends have decided that, as she is failing daily, and they think unable to ride the distance and [[?]] they will keep her at home this winter. So I can do nothing further in the case and you will be relieved from any further trouble.
