If I am furnished with transportation to Washington & back I am willing to bring the child my self provided I am directed where to deliver her, but for the sake of the child (in whom I feel great interest) I do hope she may be kept from the influence of her mother by putting her out in some respectable family. The Father of Hannah (a white man) is living in an adjoining County of wishes the child to remain where it is - all statements herein made by me concerning the character of Tamar Miller up in the time she left my employment on corroborated by respectable witness both black & white which if desired can be forwarded in writing Very Respectfully Geo.
