collections in the Museum) have been separated from the other collections and arranged in systematic order on the shelves in the West basement Invertebrate room. A great deal of this material had not been catalogued, and was, accordingly entered in the record books. The bottles forming that collection have been arranged on the shelves according to species, and a beginning has been made toward naming the unidentified species which are very numerous. After this work has been completed, it is proposed to go over the remainder of the East Coast Material in the same manner so far as possible. Then the exhibition series of alcoholic specimens can be selected out and the balance, shared conveniently for reference and study.
