My evenings have been mainly devoted to working on my report of the Lobster Industry for the U.S. Fishery Census.

The following additions have been made to the Record books during the month.

The following are the accessions to this Department for the month.

Mch. 3. Acc. No 11176. One barrel of dead shells (Fulgur, Lycotypus, Spisula, Ensatilla, etc.), intended for distribution in the duplicate sets, from Charles de Roy Cohuler, Cape May, NJ.

Mch. 3, No 11181. A fine collection of European annelids, including 85 species, from Dr. Chas Lütken, Copenhagen, Denmark.

Mch.4, No 11192. Small collection of Cephalopods, from Prof. Heinstrup, Copenhagen.
