Maude's cousins have taken us. Sunday they took us out through Orange County through orange groves and lemon groves to the right and left of us. These are the Valentia [[Valencia]] oranges and the trees were loaded with them. Yesterday afternoon Egbert drove the car over and told us we could take it and we drove out to Pasadena and back through Los Angeles. A very fine drive.
