let alone trying to walk down the old rickety cellar stairs. He talks of having one of the Ayer boys put the coal on the heater and says he can watch the water to see that is OK-
I have tended the heater two or three times most every day but cant go there all the time. They need some one there all the time but dont know whether they will have any one until one of them falls down again. Probably Mary and Egbert will come within a month and Pa thinks he can get along until then. The nurse can stay a few days more and I will let you know what arrangements are made then.
Pa has gained a lot but still isn't able to do a thing and wont be able to for a long time.
