get it. She thought it would be thru flowering though, now.

The poll tax bill had just come, so that was not delayed more than a few days. I will see to it soon.

I hope that you have had better weather there in Chicago today than it has been here so that you could enjoy being out doors, perhaps. It is so sloppy without umbrellas travelling about.

Olga called up to say she was out of school with a head cold and because of the weather wouldn't come over.

I haven't been out to your little buildings, but shall inspect the grounds as soon as I can get out without being soaked to the skin.

The bus from Brockton leaves at 5.15 p.m. to connect with Providence boat, and I got a round trip ticket [[strikethrough]] for [[/strikethough]] to return Sat. the 7th, and made tentative reservation on the boat for a state room for that night. The boat is due to arrive at 7 (daylight saving) and I ought to have plenty of time thus to catch the train leaving N.Y. at 8.15 (Standard time) on the B&O. reaching Wash D.C. at 1.15 This is next door to the Colonial Line and I don't see how I could miss it with 2 hours to spare between. However, the Penn. train goes at 9.30 reaching Wash at 2 p.m. So I shall plan to return the night of the 7th Sat. reaching Wash at 1.15 on the 8th.

Hope you are enjoying yourself & not being too strenuous

Doris
