Dear Sid:
You O.K. came this morning, short but sweet. My mother said, "You'd better preserve that document." with a laugh.

My father is coughing, but it doesn't seem to be any worse, but he is weaker owing to constant coughing. My mother doesn't think he can last very long if the cough keeps up. I don't believe it will turn to pneumonia - but a cough like that can carry him off quite understandably.

I don't see why you need to make another trip up here. We can manage after a fashion.
