Dear Sid:

It is pretty lonesome without you today. My mother is rather out-of-sorts. Doris and Mabel have been gone all the afternoon at the Brockton pond. I expect now at 6.30 you are about getting home and having a little supper if you can find anything to eat.

It has been cooler today, tho' not at all cool, and clear. I hope you have a little cooler weather there, but scarcely expect it.

Amy came for a while this forenoon and called me up this afternoon to ask if I knew where Ft. Walton Fla. was. - she had an offer of a job there and had to wire back whether she would take it. She said she would, but didn't know where it was. I have found on Addie's
