Dear Sid:

Sorry you are having it so hot,— it is a mite cooler here now. Have you moved yet? I got in 225 gals oil (at $21.95) yesterday. Am spending money fast! Have been cutting down wild cherries and blackberry bushes. Doris & Mabel go swimming together and get along well. Am baking beans today. They fill up at supper these hungry young ones. Doris is gaining, I think, so soon, and enjoys the bike. I want to get to ride it up the road to pick berries where we got them last summer. Hope the cat won't get the cat birds. How is Spanish going? Have you sampled the corn?

Doris.
