Dear Sid:

We are having hot days here - hope you are surviving there comfortably. Don't drink too much tonic - more milk. Glad you had a good day Sunday. Mabel spent the night here last night,— her folks were away during the evening. The children enjoyed it,— I don't know about the neighbors. Animals O.K. Grandma dressmaking. I have been painting & doing housework. Shall get in to Cambridge again if only the weather turns cooler. Don't drive too recklessly coming up. Pick up a few peaches if they are ripe for ma.
