Dear Sid:
Got your 2nd card today. Glad the fish and gardens are O.K, and hope the tomatoes will hold out a while longer. Are there green ones? Doris & I went to Cambridge today. I have my last beetle half done and will finish it Sept. 5 when D takes her exams. We lunched with Miss Bryant & Prof Chickering as usual & then went on to call on Anna Hoyt at the Mus. Fine Arts, and afterwards had a half hour stroll thru the place, then home. It has been showery, thundery most of the day, still thundering. Doris has knit almost the amt. she unravelled last Sunday and is still studying Chemistry hard (the Krut went back to the library in your absence!)
Do you have Labor Day? Don't Labor too hard.
Love-Doris.
