Dear Sid:

Nothing much to write except to say it is hot - 95° yesterday, but I guess you were worse. It didn't cool off much in the night, either. I am not having any fire this morning, will cook our meals on the little electric stove.

Some robin young are out of the nest and I am keeping the cat close. He did go out while I was watering the tomatoes this morning but tagged right after me for protection, - the robins, bluejays and chickadees even were yelling their heads off at him and he was glad to get back in again. He hasn't much energy such weather any how.

Doris and Mabel spent yesterday after noon diving at Brockton. Doris is
