Dear Doris and Sidney -

Your letter came this morning, and I was very much pleased to hear from you all. Thank you so much for our Xmas gifts. I wish you could see how little Bobs enjoys his blocks. One day his mother told me that he played with them all day long from morning to night. He lines them all out of the box then parks them all in, again, and carrys them all about. He has learned all the names of the figures on the sides. Chickee - bow-wows. Kitty cats. bed quack-quacks. He talks real plain calls himself Bo-bee (long o) He is just as sweet and cute as he can possibly be and unusually bright I love him so. I never believed I could love him so much and did you know we expect either a little sister or brother for him in May? A sister has been spoken for but of course a little brother would be an ideal companion for little Bob.

I will send the map soon that Sidney wants. Mr. Coville's death was very sudden wasn't it? I do remember
