at North Scituate the spray was coming up over the high sea wall in the form of foam and blowing just like snow flakes. This storm would also have caused lots of damage but early Sunday evening the wind changed and we had a thunder and lightning storm and then the storm subsided and the weather cleared. This morning it is snowing again. Hope you are all well again. Doris father had a bad cold Saturday but is O.K. now. Hope to hear from you today. Love to all Ralph-

Dear Sidney,

Well, we have been having quite a spell of weather on this stern and rock bound New England coast. Last week we had a terrific North Eeaster and it blew the old Nancy in against the rocks and ballast under the Nantasket Electric line so that the rails sagged down and will have to be repaired before the season opens. All along the drive from A To L street where there are so many fine places the road is completely washed out.
