Dear Sidney,-

Read your letter yesterday and wish we could see the cherry trees in blossom. The New Haven advertised an excursion to Washington and back in day coaches leaving last Saturday night and arriving Sunday morning and spending all day in Washington and leaving on return Sunday night and arriving in Boston Monday morning. The fare was ten dollars and I don't know but what it would be worth that much before one got back - a lot of miles for the money but a pretty hard trip I should think riding two nights in day coaches. I had one of the circulars and showed it to Arthur last Saturday night but he didn't think he would be go that way-
