I have the honor to enclose herewith Mr John H. Halls account against Henry Wiggins and James Morse -freedman - Mr Hall states that he has not charged Henry Wiggins with a suit of clothes he bought for him of C. Jackson & Bro. for the reason that he does not know the amount paid for them. Mr Hall further states that he is responsible to Henry Bazemore for the amount of his bill for corn and fodder but that Benj. Nicholls should pay it as the articles were bought for him. In a like manner he is responsible for the claim of Stephen Johnston for cotton seed and corn and that Baker Nicholls should pay this account but if he will not he - Hall - will pay it. I sent the watch belonging to James Morse by M.C. McNamara. Please acknowledge receipt.
Very Respectfully your obt. servt.
