write to me. Today being Monday of course we had a new model at our class. I dont think I have set the world on fire with my thing so far but am going to stick to it anyway.

The picture got on pretty well today as well as could be expected. I am slowly finishing it either for good or for bad I dont know which. I expect to finish it next week or the week after. I hav'nt yet got the figure painted in only sketched in color. It looks rather rich in color and I hope you may be able to see it before I get home.

Darling I cant think of anything to write except how much I love you and how I wish you were here and could sit

Love to every one --

My own love,
I just got a little from my own that I ought to have got before but it must have come on a slow steamer. I got the one with the [[?]] programme. It must have been very nice. I am glad you enjoyed it I only wish I could have been there to go with you. Mother wrote me a nice long letter that I just got with yours. Keep up good courage and we will be married soon. Now promise not to let any such things be thought of again. Give my love to all my future brothers and sisters and father and mother. I hear Maud is up to her old tricks again. Sorry I could not find anything to send the folks but give them all my love and tell them I will try to remember them

when I come [[tomorrow?]]. Lots of love and kisses for your own dear self.

Give my regards to Miss Aldrich and her ma.
