in town every night and Sunday was so cold that I did not go out in the morn, will have to go over soon or they wont remember me.

I should be delighted to meet you in N.Y. but just as likely as not I wont have money enough to buy a Herald by that time. You have probably heard Harry speak of my weakness for being broke well I am just as weak as ever no change, there never will be any change I shall always be dead broke.

I should be delighted to go if I possibly can.

Many thanks for your kind reminder of Spring. It is rather Sarcastic of you to send any thing suggestive of Spring to a fellow who has to reside in this climate

Dear Emmir

We are having more weather, we are having lots of weather lately. The wind for the last week or so would cut through a two inch plank.

I have got the blues terribly been making the worst wrecks this week that you ever saw, been working hard too that is the worst of it. Have finished the portrait of Miss McKay am going over tomorrow night to show it to her mother who wants to see it. Have just started another one of her this one is a lifesize head.
