We hav'nt [[haven't]] played more than a couple of games since you left if we have that. .   I expect we will have some fine tennis players out of the crowd this year.   Expect you will be one of them.   Are the Smith girls coming North this summer?   I suppose they are.

I have just written a letter to D.L. which I have owed him for some time.  I hope he wont [[won’t]] be excited because I did'nt [[didn't]] answer before but I have'nt [[haven't]] been home long enough to write a letter, not even Sundays.

I suppose I shall have to stop he [[here]] for want of paper.

time.  I was over to the Maples Sunday night.  Maud did'not come home, she stayed over to Winnir's, they are as thick as mud.  All the family are well and all on the smile to think you are coming home.  Ted says he thinks it is fine that you are coming so soon.    We are having a public exhibition of the works of the students at the school, the first one we have had since I have been there.

I have only 34 drawings and studies on exhibition.  Mr. Grundman says my portrait of Miss McKay and another one of mine, a little Jewess are the only decently painted things in the exhibit.  These statements are not mine but Mr.
