God and luck. Now my darling what have you been doing all this time. Did you have a nice time Thanks? and has your grandma recovered from her sickness? I should think that old gag would get played out. Mother wrote me that you all went to ride Thanks. I suppose you enjoyed yourself or did'nt you? Harry is well I hope. Give my love to [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] my old chum and to the rest of the family. I hope to see you all in the summer. The air is lovely here. One appreciates it more coming right from London. Where you never have any fresh air or sun. My first impressions of the Netherlands are very pleasant. I hope they will remain so.

If I dont hear from you when I get to Munich I dont know what I shall do. It will then be over two weeks since I got a letter from you and you dont know how I long to hear from you. It is all very nice

travelling about here and I enjoy it very much but I am afraid my thoughts keep running off to America and wandering down Adams st. to the Maples.

I cant help it and to tell the truth dearest I am afraid I dont try. I guess I will have to stop now and write to my dear mother. Here are some of the boats we saw going into Antwerp.

[[image - sketch of lamp post]] This is a lamp post hung up with a string so you can lower it to light it. On the top of the pedestal is a figure of the Madonna holding a child.

I'll write again when? I get to Munich
Good night darling.
As ever Ned.
