Today when I woke up the ground

was quite covered with snow and it was still at it. It snowed hard all day till about 4 clock and then cleared off quite cold so that everything is white and frosty and of course I am happy if I have got to have snow I prefer to have it at home where I can be with you. Is'nt it strange that we never have passed a winter together since we have loved each other? It makes me feel sad to think of it. Now the winter over here only lasts next month and then we have it quite decent. Oh! dearest take good care of yourself and dont get sick mother wrote me that you were sick when she went over to your house and that she persuaded you not to go to school. Dont get ill for anybody or anything not even your future. I've got a beastly cold and have had it ever since I have been here but guess I will get read
