I can walk over and see you in a few minutes. Now dont think me silly for writing all this for I love you so much that I really dont know how to express it and every day I stay I think my love increases. You dont think it is silly to speak of it now that we are engaged do you dearest? Tell me you dont please

You know the last time I was here you said you thought such things did'nt look well on paper but I hope you have changed your mind or rather the case is different. We have a right to say such things now.

We have a new place in Paris as the Dr's is full. The new one is in Rue Chateaubriand and is just off the Champs Elysée. I dont know how we shall like it but it is very highly recommended and is much cheaper than the Dr's. It is kept by an English [[strikethrough]] da [[/strikethrough]] lady who married a [[strikethrough]] Russiaun [[/strikethough]] Russian. It is only half as far from the school and so we wont have to get up so infernally early as we did there. I hope we shall like as it only costs $26 per month and that is awfully cheap I think.

[[strikethrough]] Dar [[/strikethrough]] Now darling I will have to stop. Give my love to mother and [[NAME I CAN'T DECIPHER]]all the children &c. When next I write I hope to be settled in P. and at work. With heaps of love and [[strikethrough]] kil [[/strikethrough]] kisses I dont think you miss the hand any more than it missed you.

With as much as ever from your future Ned.

Transcription Notes:
Someone before me did a great job of reading this handwriting, but besides the name (I have no idea) I question the last word, it seems to end with an r and future husband would make sense, but future Ned? --> Answer: He uses this same term in other letters. He refers to himself as her "future", i.e. future husband. Also, he always signs his letters as "Ned".
