of her fore head - very common though the head was very cleverly done - None of the work seemed inspiring to me, but I shall not do a quarter  as well, when I begin. That's certain - I think we shall begin next week and go for a month. Then perhaps go somewhere else -

I went to see Mrs Greene this afternoon - That is we did, and on the way saw the Arc de Triomphe for the first time - Oh, how. beautiful the sort of mist there is makes beautiful things divine.

Mrs. Greene was out, and I left my card and all the [[__ales?]] and letters.  She will have a chance to digest them.

Florence Esté came to see me this afternoon and seemed really delighted to see me - had seen no one from home since last April.  She goes to Lazar and adores it - does not like Julian's though she thinks it will be well for us to go there first - She says that Alex Harrison knows of me and says he said of me "Oh yes, she is arrivée" which dont [[don't]] mean arrived in Paris.
